Brief Description
P&L responsibility for leading developing the Consumer Electronics division and to establish a Home Appliances distribution setup across the GCC. In my tenure, the team under my leadership has added 7 new brands to the distribution portfolio for 2018 fiscal and has managed to develop a distribution business for these brands across Oman, Bahrain, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Profitability and Cost management responsibilities including inventory management and setting up logistics and service in new regions.

Brief Description
Responsible for the product department for sourcing and category management for the Consumer Electronics and Appliances division. Led a team that was responsible for product development and sourcing from across the globe and managing the brands with respect to vendor management, pricing and profitability in terms of margins and revenues.

Key Responsibility Areas
Product profiling, gap identification and sourcing for Appliances and Electronics under the Supra label.
Vendor identification and qualification with specifications and pricing according to requirements.
Managing the turnover & margin targets of the brand and responsible for effective PSI (purchase-sales - inventory) management by the product managers.
Pricing, placement mapping and margin actualization from sourced products and categories were key KPIs
Aging management of SKUs to ensure products have a very controlled life cycle from purchase to obsolescence.
Strengthening sales relationships in export countries by extensively travelling and understanding distributor and customer requirements to identify gaps and develop products accordingly.
Key Achievements
Launched a premier sub-brand under the Supra portfolio called ?AURA? which became a market benchmark for reciprocating splits. It was the first 5-star reciprocating split ac under ESMA in the market with a unique marketing approach of having colorful packaging similar to television panels. Was felicitated with the annual ?Jumbo Hero? award in recognition of the same.
Was instrumental in the finalization of listing Supra branded LED panels with a premier retailer in the region to exclusively promote the brand within its stores. Was able to source and maintain desired profits while offering the best prices in the industry.
